- DRACULA -

'COUNT DRACULA'S CZARDAS'

I have trouble with my teeth, And my diet's not nice;
When I turn into a little bat I eat live mice.
And I'm very fond of blood When it's nice and warm,
But the donor never feels it, So I do no harm.

And I sleep inside a coffin On the cold, wet sod-
It's a very ancient custom Though a trifle odd-
And the earth must come from somewhere In my native land,
Which is why it's hard and stony And not soft, like sand!

And I walk abroad in darkness When the moon's not bright,
As I forage for my dinner Or a nice, quick bite.
If you see me at your window, Please do not be scared:
It is just a friendly visit Though my teeth are bared!

I'm a very friendly vampire,
And on your neck I'll leave my mark;
But I do not seem to keep friends long
'Cos my bite is worse than my bark!
